The MP1000 was released by APF Electronics in 1978 and wasn't too popular to say the least. Its graphics and sound paled in comparison to its competitor, the Atari 2600.
The games were very basic and not too enjoyable. There was only 12 games released for the system so collecting a full set is not too difficult. The MP1000 is an oddity for certain that only a hard core collector could love.
